This piece is extremely special to artist Zeph Solis, as it is a symbol for the extremely difficult learning lessons he has lived through. Grumpy Dwarf represents the impatience and anger management issues in his past. He had to learn that patience is key after going through multiple major emergency surgeries from painful Crohn's disease complications. These complications resulted in extreme mental health struggles, that he eventually conquered in 2020. Learning "patience is key" is what gives him the perseverance to continue to believe in his dreams as an artist. The Kingdom Hearts key represents the belief in those dreams unlocking the future.
